Snapped valve, school run tomorrow.
An evening call from the edge of Worksop. The tyre had a puncture, and while he was trying to blow it back up the valve snapped — so now it wouldn’t hold any air at all, and the car was needed for the school run first thing.
We were there at 7pm and fitted a new tyre and a new valve on the drive. The car was ready to go in the morning, and nobody had to sort out a lift.
If a valve breaks or won’t seal, stop pumping and ring us. It stops a car just as surely as a nail does. Every tyre we fit gets a new valve anyway, so it’s sorted in the same visit.
