Terms & Conditions
The terms below govern quotes, bookings and work carried out by Tyre Emergency Ltd. Please read them — booking a job means you accept them.
1. Who we are
Tyre Emergency Ltd ("we", "us", "our") is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15362025, VAT No. GB456597051), based in Bilsthorpe, Newark, Nottinghamshire NG22 8GA. We provide mobile tyre fitting, emergency tyre replacement, puncture repair and locking-wheel-nut removal at the location you give us.
2. Quotes & pricing
Prices we quote are based on the information you provide (vehicle registration, tyre size, quantity, location and urgency). A quote is an estimate for the work described; if the actual job differs — for example the tyre size on the vehicle isn't what was entered, additional tyres are needed, or access to the vehicle is materially different — the price may change and we will tell you before carrying out the extra work.
Urgent ("Emergency" and "Same day") quotes are time-limited and are shown with an expiry countdown. Once a quote has expired you may need to request a fresh one, which can differ from the original.
3. Emergency bookings & deposit
When you confirm an Emergency (priority call-out) booking, a non-refundable deposit — currently £60 — is payable to secure it. The exact amount is shown on the secure payment page before you pay.
- The deposit is a part payment — it is deducted from the total price of your job, not added to it.
- After you accept and confirm your booking, you are sent a secure payment link (processed by Stripe). The deposit must be paid within 10 minutes.
- If the deposit is not paid within that 10-minute window, the booking is automatically cancelled and the slot released, so we can offer it to other customers.
- The deposit is non-refundable once a technician has been allocated to your job. This is because, for an emergency call-out, we commit real cost the moment you book — reserving a fitter and ordering your tyres — and that cost stands whether or not you later cancel.
This policy protects us from last-minute cancellations after we have committed resources to your job. By paying the deposit you confirm that you understand and accept it. If you have questions about a charge, please call us on 0330 133 9311 before booking.
4. Cancellations & refunds
For non-emergency bookings, please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange. For emergency bookings, the deposit terms in section 3 apply. Where any refund is due, it is made to the original payment method.
If we are unable to complete a booking you have paid a deposit for (for reasons within our control), we will either rearrange at no extra deposit or refund the deposit in full.
5. Carrying out the work
You agree to provide safe, lawful and reasonable access to the vehicle, and accurate details about its location. We fit tyres that are appropriate and legal for your vehicle. Some tyres or situations cannot be safely worked on at the roadside (for example certain run-flats, or damage outside the repairable area of a tyre); where that's the case we will explain the options before proceeding.
Estimated arrival times are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed, as traffic, weather and earlier jobs can affect them.
6. Payment
The balance of the job (after any deposit) is payable on completion unless agreed otherwise. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details.
7. Liability
We carry out our work with reasonable care and skill and are fully insured. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Otherwise, our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the version in force is the one published here at the time of your booking.
