Not with fast traffic going past. Get out on the side away from the road and wait behind the barrier or up the verge. On a quieter road, stay in the car with the hazards on, or get onto a safe verge. We'll talk you through it.

It depends on the tyre, where you are and how urgent it is. The tyre price includes fitting, valve, balancing and disposal. Urgent jobs have a call-out on top. You hear the full price on the phone before you say yes.

Not before you've heard the price. Once you say yes, we check the tyre and the van, then text you a card link to confirm. Nothing's charged until you've confirmed.

Nearly always. Common sizes are on the van. Anything else we pick up on the way. If it needs ordering in, we'll tell you and give you a time.

Not for a car or van — give us the reg and we look it up. For a caravan or trailer, read it off the side of the tyre; it looks like 185/70R13.

Often, if it's a nail or screw in the middle of the tread and the tyre hasn't been driven on flat. Repairs are booked from tomorrow onwards, for customers within about 10 miles of us. If you're stuck now, it's a new tyre.
